

The policy is flawed and at this point I a have spent more time without a bat and at this point fighting for a useable bat for my son as his season starts. These are two totally different bats with structural issues. After waiting two weeks, I called today to find out that the policy is only a one time warranty claim for the initial bat, not the new one. The bat had an issue where the cap became loose and unstable, I called customer service for ********************** who stated it needed to be sent in for review. a voucher was sent purchase a different bat, a Louisville Slugger META 2022 that was sent and received in Sept. I submitted a claim to have it replaced in Aug of 2022. I purchased a bat 2022 Demarini Voodoo Bat in Nov of 2021, that bat had known flaws with the cap that broke off. 5 months into warranty period,school season over, $450 in hole,2 broken LV bats,extra $400 spent on usable bat, hours of emails &phone calls.ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Ordered in Jan to use by school season,4-6 week leadtime,bat arrived in Feb.Used at batting cage,immediately broke.Had that dreaded rattling sound when shaken.Took video of bat with audio,contacted LV.They didnt accept video,I needed to physically return to deem it as broken & if so,theyll replace.I explained urgency that bat is needed ASAP for start of season.LV said they wouldnt make commitment on replacing until bat was in hand to deem it a valid claim.Once received, it takes 5 days to inspect.Rep said that IF warranty claim is valid,I can get a loaner bat for use until the replacement custom bat is built.I returned & tracked,waited 5 days & contacted LV to verify validity of claim & make arrangements for loaner to be sent.Rep confirmed bat was broken & was a warranty claim,BUT they do NOT do loaner ************ know why I was told it was an option.I reiterated urgency of getting bat remade as my kid needs ASAP,especially since LV now retracted loan offer.Rep explained I get no priority ahead of other bat ************ leadtime is 8 weeks because were in their peak season.I couldnt understand this logic-after all,I HAD ordered in Jan.,& with no fault of my own,was sent a defective bat.Why couldnt I be put at front of queue?I myself work for a manufacturing companyquality replacement orders ALWAYS take precedence over standard orders.Rep refused.So I wait 8 weeks for replacement.Of course daughter couldnt wait,her season was beginning!Went to *****,spent another $400 on a bat to use until custom one arrived.On 5/8,FINALLY replacement bat arrives & BREAKS-FIRST USE! LV refuses refund,said only option is continue to order replacement custom bats,or get one that isnt custom & get $50 for price difference. Daughter outgrew her bat so I bought custom LV slugger LXT in her school colors,spent $450.
